Boost Your Milk Supply
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient medicinal system that has been used in India for over a thousand years. Ayurveda offers natural and holistic ways for new moms to boost milk supply by balancing their doshas, nourishing the body, and reducing stress. It emphasizes warm, nutrient-rich foods like fenugreek, fennel, and shatavari, which are known to enhance lactation, along with gentle self-care practices like oil massages and meditation to support postpartum recovery. By addressing both physical and emotional well-being, Ayurveda helps new mothers produce ample, high-quality milk while promoting overall health for both mom and baby.
Can I have your lactation products even though I no longer have a newborn?
Yes, you can use our lactation products anytime you need a boost in your milk supply or feel your body needs some extra nourishment and care. Many of the ingredients, such as shatavari, fennel, and fenugreek, support overall hormonal balance, digestion, and vitality, making them beneficial beyond the postpartum period. Whether you're still nursing, relactating, or simply looking for Ayurvedic support to replenish and rejuvenate your body, these products can provide gentle, natural nourishment whenever you need it.
Can I have any Mrs. Patel’s lactation products if I am pregnant?
No. The herbs in our Breastfeeding line are potent and cannot be digested if you are or think you are pregnant. We suggest you have our trimester-specific pregnancy teas (which are for pregnancy only and not lactation).
How long does shipping take?
From the moment you place your order to when it arrives at your doorstep, it typically takes about 1 to 1.5 weeks because we make our products fresh in small batches. This ensures that you receive the highest quality, natural ingredients without preservatives or unnecessary additives. Our careful preparation process allows us to retain the natural benefits of ingredients, providing you with products that are not only effective but also crafted with the utmost care for your well-being.
When will I see results?
We don’t offer specific timelines for results because every woman’s body is unique, and the way each person responds to herbs can vary significantly. Some mamas notice an increase in milk supply within just 1-2 days, while for others, it may take 12 days or more to see a difference, and in some cases, certain individuals may not experience a noticeable change at all. Since herbal remedies work gradually to support overall hormonal balance and well-being, we recommend using our products consistently for at least one month to allow your body enough time to adjust and respond effectively.
